Every "Topic Map Application" (ontology) definition must define:
- The name of the "Topic Map Application".
- Choose one that you hope and believe will always be
globally, universally, absolutely unique! It's prudent to
include a version number in the name.
- It's certainly OK to use URIs as Topic Map Application names.
- The name is necessary in order to allow us to talk about
reifiers that have properties defined by multiple Topic Map
Applications without getting confused.
- myApp::name and yourApp::name are two different
properties.
